VisitBlackHistory.com studies the ways we learn about and experience African-American History.We are dedicated to showcasing the way African-American history is interpreted and illustrated in: museums, archives, monuments/statues/sculptures, themed events/festivals, tours, buildings, documentary films, and stage plays, just to name a few.
We are currently developing a comprehensive directory of Cultural & Natural Resources located throughout the U.S., which interpret African-American History.

Sophia is dedicated to exploring cultural & natural resources that illustrate African-American History. She travels from state to state to collect information about black historic sites. In 2017, she obtained a Masters of Heritage Preservation with a focus in Public History, from Georgia State University. Sophia worked extensively with various cultural heritage organizations before taking the challenge, to build the VisitBlackHistory.com community from the ground up – roots.
Geronimo Collins is an authority in urban culture and lifestyle and provides a unique viewpoint through conversation and storytelling. He comes with a variety of experiences having worked in industries ranging from retail, nightlife, luxury brands, and media.
